The current #1 on iTunes is “Forever” by Drake, featuring Kanye West, Eminem, and Lil Wayne. The reason I haven’t posted this song is because it is simply not a good song at all. I don’t suggest anyone going and listening to it. The only reason I can figure out why this song would be a #1 is the popularity of the artists all involved in one song. I wasn’t even gonna blog about this song, but it showed me the incredible work God has done in artists like Lecrae and Flame. This exact culture and genre of music is probably what these very talented rappers would be famous in right now if it weren’t for the grace of God. I went from this song, in which they discuss mainly about how they are going to live for themselves and not care about anyone else, cause no one every did anything for them, to Lecrae’s “Don’t Waste Your Life” music video. Five men who, outwardly look almost exactly the same, are living lives so drastically different. The grace of God is so incredible.
Oh, by the way, I give this song 1 out of 5 stars. It would be zero pretty much, but beat’s somewhat original and different.
